Petition Action

Stop the UK government's plans for internet censorship.

Petition Details

The UK's government's new plans for the censorship of pornography is a terrifying reality. It includes the ban of legal acts between consenting adults under the 'Obscene Publications Act'. There is no reason for the government to dictate what consenting adults may watch.

Additional Information

This is a scary first step to the government censorship of the internet. It is not about the pornography, but about the implications of restricting access to our freedom on the internet.

No politician wants to be the politician who was 'pro-porn', but we must stand up to this, as it is nothing more than censorship in disguise.
