The UK government should support the CITES ban on the trade in Polar Bear parts.
The UK government should support the CITES ban on the trade of Polar Bear parts in Thailand in March 2013. The last time this vote was defeated by the UK and the EU.
While the main threat to this magnificent species may be climate change, the hunting of bears for profit risks pushing them over the edge into extinction.
