Turning off Half the street lights.....
I would like to propose turning off every other street-light in acceptable locations ensuring it does not effect a pedestrians safety. This will half the electricity bill and dramatically reduce the levels of light pollution. in some areas the street lighting could even be completely turned-off at certain times of the night.
