Keep Formula 1 Coverage on the BBC
I petition the government to challenge the recent Formula 1 commercial rights agreement between the BBC and BSkyB.
As TV License fee payers, we already have no choice but to line the pockets of the fat-cats in the media world and should not have to pay more to watch a sport we have been following for years.
It is outrageous that only after a matter of weeks that a report into those within the BBC earning six-figure salaries is published, the corportation try to pull the wool over our eyes explaining that this is a 'cost-cutting measure'.
On behalf of the true fans of F1, I emplore you, the Government, to stand in on this debacle.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.
You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
