Able bodied to do community service in order to receive benefits
The purpose of this petition is to get those who receive benefits, to earn them and give back to the community live in. This petition is for those who are on long term benefits and who are able to work. Britain can no longer afford to give money out and we need to shift the ‘work-shy’ image the nation is getting. There will be advantages for both the community and the individual; the individual will have an improved CV enhancing their chances of getting employment in a desired area, work and routine has been proven increase in self-esteem and community service will also offer more chances to socialise. The community as a whole will hopefully regain a sense of community and save money.
