Debate the proposals to scrap student maintenance grants in favour of loans

Petition Details

The Budget included the announcement that from 2016/7 student maintenance grants for university students would be scraped and additional loans introduced. The grants are an important lifeline to many and we believe this is the wrong focus of this government - keep the grants.
