Give LGBT people the same equality rights and protection as racial minorities.

Petition Details

I think that the British LGBT communities are not fairly protected as other minority groups. Therefore, I beg you to help me get a change in the law to give the LGBT community more equal rights and legal protection. This needs to be a nationwide change for the whole of Britain.

Additional Information

In a British school a pupil could risk expulsion for one instance of racial abuse but homophobic bullying over a long period of time might only receive a stern talking to. This is the same in the legal world, and in employment. How is this acceptable ?
