Make the Govt. honour the Manifesto pledge to begin a cap on care costs in 2016
The Conservative Manifesto for the 2015 General Election contained a pledge to honour the previously announced cap on care costs to be introduced in April 2016. Just two short months after the election they have reneged on that commitment and delayed the cap until 2020 at the earliest.
Many people will be forced to sell their homes and end their lives in poverty due to this decision. The Government must be held to account over this broken promise. This decision should be held up to public scrutiny. Please sign this petition. Thank you
