Make Vehicle excise duty run from the date its paid for and to the same date
Stop the millions of pounds worth of ghost ved being paid now that the ved must be surrendered on selling a car
When you sell a car any ved left is refunded for whole months only so you lose what's left of the month you are in but the buyer has to pay from the beginning of the same month therefore the government is receiving double ved for the month
