Bring Back National Service
We need to reinstate National Service, as I feel it is a fundamental part of getting young people, to not only have access to discipline and respect, but also I feel it can install really important values, such as community spirit, independance, and team work. In the owrds of my grandfather it 'made him a man', and that's the important thing, it helps young people to 'grow up', and take responsibility, something which seems to be lacking in our current culture.
