Many businesses with online account billing or statement viewing technology will incentivise this by charging customers around £1.50 to move from traditional paper copies. Some business do not offer the ability.

Additional Information

Vital businesses such as the utilities, banks and pensions, should be obliged to ask all customers at regular intervals whether they'd like to receive paper copies of fundamental documents - bills, invoices and statements. For many older people, there is security in receiving and monitoring papers copies. Additionally there should be no incentive or fee in choosing between online and paper.
