Reintroduce National Service
Make it compulsory for all 18 to 24 year olds who hold a British Passport to spend 2 years in the Army, Air Force or Navy. Followed by 5 years on the reserve list should their expertise be required in future conflicts.
This will ensure that the current MOD rationalisation programme is sustainable and at the same time install discipline, respect and responsibility for future generations.
