Motoring offences (not parking) minimum fines should be £1000 anything less is a waste of the courts time and administration cost. Also the fine would be indexed linked to the drivers income say at 15%. This way it is fair to all no matter what their income is a fine of £60 is nothing to a person who earns £100,000 a year.
