Sameer Sahail helped our troops in Afghanistan now he deserves our help
Sameer has put his life on the line to help our troops and now we are turning our backs on him. His actions as a translator in his home country supported and protected Allied troops. He is now in Calais waiting to be allowed in and Border Force are turning him away.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We’re not sure what help you would like the UK Government or Parliament to give in this case.
If you would like the UK to grant asylum to all interpreters who worked for British forces in Afghanistan, you might like to sign this petition:
petition.parliament.uk/petitions/106218
If you would like a different kind of support to be offered to the interpreters, you could start a petition asking specifically for that.
