Islington Council plan to extend parking controls and we are opposed to the plan

Petition Details

Islington Council want to extend parking controls in the Borough to 8:30am - 9pm seven days a week. They claim this is due to more home games and events and the Emirates Stadium. We the undersigned believe this is unnecessary and will damage local businesses.

Additional Information

The councils claims are simply not true, there are events at the Emirates a max. of 32 days per year and so there can be no justification for 'match day' controls 365 days per year.
