Get the BBC to bring back Robot Wars
It's been over 10 years since Robot Wars last graced our screens. It was one of the most entertaining shows ever; robots with innovative designs (for example 'Pussycat,' a robot designed to always land on its feet - or wheels) duking it out in an arena and inspiring others into engineering.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is operationally and editorially independent of government and there is no provision for the government to intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
