Investigate the Chilcot Committee for appropriate use of public funds
The Iraq Inquiry (The "Chilcot Report") is now 10 years in the undertaking, and has cost £10million, funded from the public purse, i.e. you the taxpayer.
Allegations suggest that John Chilcot has been
working to a very limited extent and being paid just under £800 per day.
The Chilcot Report is being funded by public money.
This petition requests that the Prime Minister, to whom Chilcot is accountable, establishes whether Chilcot, including members of his committee, has/have received monies for time that they have not actually been gainfully working in pursuit of delivering the report.
It also requests that a full public declaration of timesheets and and/or other evidence be made which can support the funds that they have claimed/received to date.
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
