Petition Action

Child benefit should not be taken away from higher rate tax payers

Additional Information

Child benefit should not be taken away from hard working families in such a way that a household with one person earning £44,000 with one parent working will not receive child benefit and their neighbour with two incomes of £40,000 and therefore a joint income of £80,000 gets child benefit. Ridiculous.
