Provide tax free hazard pay to electricity workers who are operational.
There have been a rising number of serious injuries and fatalities in the power distribution sector due to private companies not maintaining or efficiently monitoring their switchgear. eg UKPN engineer John Higgins died in 2008 after tap changer exploded. This was a result of poor maintenance by DNO

The amount that electricity workers are paid is decided by the company they work for, not by the Government or Parliament.
Parliament does control taxation, so you could start a petition to ask for tax relief for electricity workers, if you wished to do so.
