Force Iain Duncan Smith to resign as Secretary of State for Work and Pensions

Petition Details

IDS has caused stress, heartache and has even led to the deaths of thousands of people in the UK with his constant attacks on the disabled and sick, reducing the money that those people need to live on.
He has also lied in his attempt to make people believe that the sanctions are a good thing

Additional Information

IDS has pushed people to the point of suicide yet he continues to push even more

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Cabinet Ministers to be sacked or fired.

You could instead start a new petition calling for a debate on a motion of no confidence in Mr Duncan Smith, because this is something that the House of Commons could do. You may find that there is already a petition about this which you would like to sign.

Alternatively, you could start a petition specifically asking for action on your concerns about the policies of the Department for Work and Pensions.
