Lift the ban on hip-hop/rap artist Tyler, The Creator from traveling to the UK
The rapper was turned away from the UK last week for ‘posing a threat to public order’.
Although the Home Office would not comment on the specific case, it issued a statement saying: “Coming to the UK is a privilege, and we expect those who come here to respect our shared values.”
Shouldn't these shared values be rooted in freedom of speech and freedom to express oneself artistically without restrictions being imposed on that art, when it does not encroach on the freedom or quality of life of other individuals?
This petition urges the home secretary, Theresa May, to lift the ban on Tyler's entry to the UK.
