For Parliament to debate the Immigration crisis and approve our existing Treaty.
The appalling photo of a drowned 3 year old boy who was taken by his parents from a safe environment in Turkey to attempt to illegally enter the EU is no reason for a Government to change Asylum Policy in an emotionally charged atmosphere.
The UK has already given careful consideration to Asylum within a EU context and the EU is entirely responsible for initiating a policy that has encouraged the problem.
Parliament should approve and uphold the UK's position under EU Treaties that the UK has an opt out of the Asylum rules imposed by the EU.
Why can a Treaty carefully considered be thrown away because of media pressure when the electorate has not spoken to give their opinion?
