Syrians who did not stop in Turkey are economic migrants, not asylum seekers.
There are perfectly safe countries outside the EU, and refugees must stop at the first safe country, rather than cherry pick where they would like to live. Eritreans and Sudanese should similarly be required to seek asylum in Ethiopia, not the EU.
