Child Benefit to be withdrawn for Persistent Truancy

Additional Information

If a child is continually absent from school, due to truancy, child benefit should be withdrawn, until such time the child returns on a regular basis.

(Parents have a duty under the Education Act to ensure their children receive fulltime education)
