Replace the term Down Syndrome with the term Chromies.
Chromies is more child friendly and is less likely to cause offence. The friendly vibe that the word 'Chromies' gives off is positive in light that we should not think of Down's syndrome as negative.

The Government and Parliament don't deicde what language people use.
You could start a petition asking for the term 'Chromies' to be used by all public bodies, as this is something that the Government could do.
