Stop interfering with our state pensions, enough is enough.
People approaching retirement are fed up with having the goal posts changed. Workers are finding they have to work longer, and some for less pension than someone who has never worked. People who have 'bought' their pensions and paid into them over many decades are not receiving what they paid for.
People in hard physical jobs have a limit to how old they have to be to continue working, so the pensionable age should decrease, NOT increase. The government is now examining cuts to pension tax relief also. So get a grip Mr Osborne, and make OUR pensions (not YOUR pensions), fair.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We're not sure exactly what your petition is asking the Government to do. You could start a new petition asking the Government not to make any further changes to the state pension age. Or you could start a petition asking for the changes that have been made to be undone. If you would like the state pension age to be lower, you could ask clearly for the age you want it to be.
