Introduce A Compulsary National Service, Community or Military or both, for young unemployed young people.
It is obvious from recent events that a large proportion of young people have fallen away from "Society", as the majority know it, Many have either dropped out of the education system or never held employment since leaving school or both. This has left them in a void which must encourage them to find "other means" to survive e.g.Crime and Violence and Gang Culture.
National Service (Conscription ) as it was, in the fifties, was often heralded for the way it brought structure and discipline to the lives of young people, aswell as, in many cases, teaching them work skills to take with them and continue them in employment when they left the service.
SURELY THE TIME IS NOW RIGHT FOR THIS TO BE CONSIDERED AGAIN AND RE-INTRODUCED IN SOME FORM, RELEVANT TO TODAY'S SOCIETY.
