Parents rights in getting info about their adult vulnerable children's welfare
Vulnrable adults with special needs with history of depression and self harm that are in independent living care and decide to cut off from their loved ones with no history of neglect or abuse. Give family rights to receive information about their welfare as is in the best interest of both parties.
When the local social services challenges a lawyer where an adult with special needs and long history of self neglect cutts off from their past including family and friends with no reason given. The council gets away by providing a statement about mental capacity done by someone who knows nothing about that adult history and the relatives can not challenge that action because of the present laws. For the families there is no way of knowing if that vulnerable adult is getting the proper care
