I am calling for the age of smear tests to be lowered to 16-years-old.
I am calling for the age of smear tests to be lowered to 18-years-old.
Too many young women across the UK are dying from cervical cancer or being diagnosed after being refused a potentially life-saving smear test.
Having smear tests for women at 25 or over is just ridiculous - at the very least young women should be given a choice as soon as they are sexually active.
I was diagnosed with cc whilst pregnant & almost died before holding my newborn baby girl in my arms, I don't ever want to see a women go through what I had too.
A debate needs to be held in the House of Parliament on the subject of cervical screening.
Please take steps for the women you love.........x
