Cut the time people have to wait for their treatment for cancer to begin

My father passed away May 23rd 2015 from cancer. It took 7 weeks from having a biopsy to being given a confirmed diagnosed of cancer. He was told it was treatable with radiotherapy. He passed away due to the cancer before he was offered the treatment.

Additional Information

I contacted the sarcoma specialist nurse to find out why Dad was still waiting for radiotherapy only to be told that there are too many people on the waiting list. The fact is that too many people are dying in this country whilst waiting for their cancer treatment to start
