Stop the Badger Cull and vaccinate all instead
The Government has confirmed badger culls in Dorset, Somerset and Gloucestershire have begun. This mass loss of life must stop. Previous culls have not been successful so why carry on. Also, culling badgers in Gloucestershire and Somerset has cost the taxpayer nearly £16.8m was it worth it?
The cost to the public of killing each badger is £6,775 says the BBC
"Vaccinating badgers to curb the rise of tuberculosis in cattle would cost less than culling them, according to a new analysis of the government's own data."-The Guardian published Monday 3rd June 2013
