In today's world we are facing major climate problems and I for one blamed it all on Carbon emissions. The I did some research, I then found that the meat industry contributes more to global warming than Carbon emissions. Methane gas is around 300 times more potent than Carbon Dioxide.

Additional Information

Animal agriculture produces 65% of the worlds nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide is an gas which is 296 times greater than CO2 per pound, yet all we talk about is fossil fuels.

Animal agriculture is responsible for,

30% of the worlds water consumption.
45% of land on Earth
91% of amazon destruction

Also a leading cause of,

Ocean 'dead zones'
Habitat destruction
Species extinction
