Make our MPs undergo regular drug testing with the results freely public.
With stories that some of our MP's, cabinet members and now maybe even our prime minister having been historic users of illegal narcotics, it makes sense that it's in the nation's interests to ensure that our government is not being influenced by intoxication nor involved in illegal activity.
