Make it easier for teachers and young people to get on the property ladder.
Average prices of homes are increasing every year and has now reached £500,000. With a %10 increase of rent per year it is becoming more and more impossible for teachers and young people to afford a place to stay.
4% of the capitals children are currently living in temporary accommodation and more are facing overcrowding, squalor and poverty.
Rent controls and landlord regulation needs to be put in place. What we need is more council housing and more key worker homes.
It is now time for a change.
It is now time for some action.
