Abolish or reform any ceremony which obliges one human to kneel before another.
The reasons are self evident to any democrat. The wording does not discourage kneeling before an invisible god. It will not put shoeshine boys out of business. Those who can grovel cheerfully will remain free to do so.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The UK Parliament and Government are not responsible for all ceremonies carried out in the UK.
If you would like the UK Parliament to legislate to make it illegal to oblige a person to kneel before another, we could accept a petition about that. Alternatively, you could ask for Parliament and Government to remove any obligation to kneel from any of the ceremonies for which they are responsible.
