Petition Action

Convicted Unemployed/Not in education 16-25 years should be forced into the Army for a minimum of 12 months

Additional Information

Any 16 - 25 year olds who are currently not employed or studying and are convicted for any one of a number of crimes (Robbery, Assault, Drug related etc) should face the possibility of having to spend a minimum of 12 months in the Armed forces. This would or at least help to teach them some discipline, respect and also skills to help them develop a career, rather than just putting them back in to society and have them offend again.
