Petition Details

We believe that the UK Government is launching a direct and sustained attack on the people of our country. The austerity program is reducing the living standards of the majority of the UK population.

Additional Information

In addition, the disabled and the least well off in our society are being subjected to indignities that infringe upon their human rights. We, the people, signatories to this petition, have no confidence in the current government and demand that the Prime Minister informs the Queen that he wishes her to dissolve Parliament so that a fresh mandate can be granted by the electorate.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.

We cannot accept duplicate petitions. We think this petition is similar to yours:

You might like to sign this petition instead. It is more likely to get more signatures that way.
