Petition Action

Re Assessment of Punishments for Anti Social Behaviour

Additional Information

We the Undersigned Members of the British Public Request that the Government of the United Kingdom Re evaluate the current Punishments imposed on those People Convicted of Anti Social Behaviour.

We request that Punishments such as Compulsory Community Work, The Wearing of High Visibility Clothing, Names and Photos published in Local / National Media and posted in Public Places are considered.

We feel that the Current use of ASBO's does not work and is considered by some as a Badge of Honour.

A large Proportion of these Individuals today seem to demand a certain amount of Respect from their Peers and their Communities, we need to take that Respect from them and make them earn it back.
