Change that the car tax is charged from the start of month.
Car tax should be charged from when you take ownership of the vehicle and refunded from when the vehicle is disposed of.
I purchased a car on the 21st and paid online for road tax, the tax still started on the 1st I then requested a refund for my old car and was told I would only be refunded from the following month. This means that the revenue receives a months fees for nothing and if the person I was buying from also changing vehicles then that would be two free months for the revenue. With tax discs this was understandable but now when its all done electronically it should be charged from the day you pay.
