Stop the UK Police from surveilling motorists in hidden vehicles!
It has recently been reported that traffic officers are hiding in tractors to catch motorists speeding on country roads.
Under the Association of Chief Police Officers Traffic Committee
Enforcement Technology National Guidance Manual, operators of devices should normally do so from positions where they will be clearly visible to the public. The public has legitimate expectation that the police would follow these guidelines. The police should therefore be required to stop this exercise immediately!
