Do not spend £700,000 of public money on a fleet of electric bicycles.
It has been reported today that the Government intend to spend £700,000 on buying a fleet of 234 electric assist bicycles, which will be deployed at 10 locations across the UK. As a cyclist, I am keen to see other people take up cycling, but there must better things to spend £700,000 on?
