Stop the use of Primark's sweatshops in Bangladesh
In Bangladesh, there are 1.3 million children who are forced to work in factories to provide for their families. Also, the hourly wage is US$0.13 cents an hour which is far below the minimum and living wage.
In 2013, the Rana Plaza factory collapsed in Bangladesh and over 2000 people died.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Primark's policy is not a matter for the UK Government or Parliament. It is a decision for Primark. You could contact Primark directly with your complaint.
You could start a petition calling for legislation to prevent all retailers in the UK from selling clothes which had been made using child labour or in sweatshops.
