Cut the noise from emergency services sirens by 50%

Petition Details

The noise from sirens from emergency service vehicles in built-up areas has become intolerable. These must be reduced on the grounds that they are obscenely loud and cause disturbance to quiet enjoyment in the home.

Additional Information

As a Londoner I see on a daily basis people who are paralysed by the noise of emergency services by standing on the side of the street watching the vehicle go by with fingers in their ears because the loud noise is too loud. Moreover. In my own home I can barely hear the television due to the noise level from the adjoining street.
