Reduce UK driving age to 16
With the reduction of the voting age surely the driving age should also be decreased. I feel that with the correct lessons I would be able to pass the test and I feel that it should be judged on skill instead of age.
Benefits
With 16 year olds being able to drive there would be benefits such as
Freedom
More Job Opportunities
Allow us to leave school and go into work
Allow those in rural areas to get to work, go shopping or visit family.
Sense of responsibility
Travel for education thus leading to more job opportunities
Help at home e.g. going shopping
Give parents a rest from having to take us everywhere
Cheaper than taxis or planes
