To order Tom Watson to make public all letters & emails to police & NGOs

Petition Details

All abuse cases where he has encouraged an investigation and particular the Leon Brittan investigation.
If HRH Prince of Wales must publish his letters of 'encouragement' to those in positions of power and influence then so , surely, should Tom Watson.

Additional Information

In light of the fact that we have no idea what witch hunts are being create by these letters at an unknown financial cost. What sort of pressure and level of persuasion is being used and for what reason?

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the correspondence of individual MPs. They therefore could not take the action you've requested.

It was the Cabinet Office, not the Prince of Wales, which was required under the Freedom of Information Act to disclose the correspondence it held. Government departments are public authorities under the Act. You can find out more about the Act here:
