Make it so if you pay a County Court Judgement it gets removed off Credit file.
Make it so if a person has a County Court Judgement or a default notice on their credit report, it gets removed as soon as they pay and does not stay on the file for six years.
Making people have bad credit reports for six years for a CCJ that they paid, is oppressive and makes peoples life harder.
People get CCJs or defaults on their credit reports and it makes it impossible for them to get credit, even if they pay the debt off. It still stays on their report for six years.
Six years of adverse reports against a persons name is oppressive and stops people from being able to set up a business or get a mortgage.
They should especially be removed if the CCJ or Default concerned is under £1000.
Once a debt is paid it should be removed off a persons credit file immediately.
