Commission research on replacing the houses of parliament with holo-conferencing
Parliament is a symbol of the nation but a £5 billion+ refit is excessive + shows it is no longer fit for purpose. A virtual parliament could holographically project debate into civic spaces, cut costs, improve voting, attendance + access to data. Our parliament would once again lead the world.
The time and cost of making Parliament fit for purpose is far too high:

This petition only asks for research into the possibilities this technology as well as modern virtual reality provide, the risks and rewards and how they could transform national politics.
