Reverse 2012 changes to immigration rules. They contravene the Human Rights act

Petition Details

The 2012 changes to the immigration rules are:
1Non EU migrants can not appeal under section 8 of the Human Rights Act i.e. the right to have a family life.
2 The spouse of a non EU migrant must earn a minimum of £18600 to sponsor them
Do you want the government to dictate who you can marry ?

Additional Information

Thousands of families have been divided since this legislation was passed. An all party group in the House of Lords have challenged it.
The organisation Right to Remain are opposing it and working to publicise the issues. A woman married to a non EU professional was left a single mother when her husband was deported because she did not earn enough to sponsor him. His substantial salary does not count under these new rules. She is now on benefit.
