Increase the length of the school day, and stop homework.
It would help working Mothers if the school day at secondary level was longer. It would also help if the children had done their homework so that family time was then free from homework stress as they will have already done it at school.

The length of the school day, and decisions about homework, are decisions for schools and their governing bodies to make.
If you would like the Department for Education to issue guidelines, or impose requirements on schools, you could start a petition asking for that.
