Abolish the unreasonable and out of date Cancer Act 1939
There are alternatives to 'conventional' cancer treatments available in modern society.
People deserve the right to be able to make their own decisions based on information on evidence based 'alternatives' now widely available.
We want to see the Cancer Act 1939 abolished.
Out of date laws which make ineffective 'conventional' treatment the only legal option for patients need to be abolished.
We the signed people would like to see the Cancer Act 1939 Abolished.
As it currently stands in the Act..
(1)No person shall take any part in the publication of any advertisement—
(a)containing an offer to treat any person for cancer, or to prescribe any remedy therefor, or to give any advice in connection with the treatment thereof.
